Dojo History

Tom Joanes Sensei began training at the Arizona State University Club.  After graduating from ASU, he continued his training at the Aikido Kokikai Southwest Dojo under Dave Nachman Sensei and Roni Burrows Sensei.  He always knew he would open his own dojo, and on August 19, 2006, San Tan Aikido celebrated its Grand Opening in Gilbert, AZ.
