Tom Joanes, 3rd DanTom Joanes Sensei is uchideshi, or direct student, to the Southwest Regional coordinators/senior instructors, Dave Nachman Sensei and Roni Burrows Sensei, of the Kokikai International Association in Phoenix, Arizona. Tom Sensei holds the rank of san-dan, or third degree Black Belt, and is a certified instructor of Kokikai-ryu Aikido. He has been training for over 16 years and has been instructing both children and adults for over 11 years. He has a dynamic, engaging style of holistic, experiential based instruction and encourages students to apply the power of Aikido principles to their daily lives for maximum benefit and joy!
